Description
The Compensation Analyst will primarily support the sales compensation function through the development and support of the sales compensation plans. The role will analyze compensation data by building financial models to assess financial costs and behavioral impacts of existing and new Sales incentive compensation plans. The Compensation Analyst will gather data from various CDW systems (Callidus and PeopleSoft), provide reporting and develop key communication tools.
This individual will be a key contributor in sales compensation assessment and implementation through the development of compensation plan requirements and the assist in the installation and set up of new and existing plans within sales compensation system. Position will also assist in support of other areas within compensation as needed.
Essential Functions:
* Administer existing incentive, wage and salary programs within Callidus TrueComp System.
* Assist in the development sales compensation plan requirements and entry into Callidus software platform.
* Build financial models to assess compensation data related to all exempt and non-exempt positions
* Provide analysis for a variety of compensation areas including Sales Compensation and Non-sales compensation programs.
* Partner with Commissions, IT and Finance in the set up and administration of sales compensation plans within the Callidus system.
* Partner with other Coworker Services (CWS) managers to obtain resolution of compensation related issues.
* Provide feedback for systems and process improvements, including increased automation of selected compensation functions.
* Additional Responsibilities:
* Act as a support to the team during quarterly and annual compensation cycles including merit and variable pay increases and compensation committee meetings
* Conduct market analyses to identify competitive practices and trends in specific geographic areas where CDW has significant presence
* Participate in annual salary surveys in order to maintain current competitive data
* Conduct job analyses and job evaluations ensuring both internal and external equity. Evaluate positions to determine FLSA status
* Develop communications in support of new programs, incentives as well as changes
Qualifications
* 4-year college degree, required
* Advanced Excel Spreadsheet Skills — Pivot tables, charts and graphs, linking and formulas, required
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated analytical and teamwork skills, other required
* Understanding/appreciation of maintaining confidentiality, other required
* Callidus Software experience, preferred
* Prior financial data analysis experience, preferred
