Job Description
* Manipulates data and understands the underlying process details
* Updates, submits and checks programs used for data manipulation purposes
* Designs and participates in implementation, Q/A, and validation of data, software or procedure changes
* Troubleshoots and debugs system and/or data errors
* Builds and maintains a variety of production client deliverables
* Sets up, submits, checks and delivers Ad hoc/special requests
* Creates and maintains detailed documentation and adheres to standard operating procedures
* Applies knowledge and experience to identify and implement process improvement.
* Take full ownership and accountability for their work
* Attends ongoing training to achieve personal, professional and technical improvement
* Mentors other production staff
Required Skills
* Four-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
* Minimum of two years relevant experience, demonstrating working knowledge of process design and improvement
* Detail oriented person
* Good interpersonal and time management skills
* Strong technical skills including SQL, Unix, PC and Microsoft office suite
* Relational database experience and data analysis
* Knowledge of SAS, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Appworx a plus
* Must be organized and a quick learner
* Effective communication skills
* Well-developed multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment
