Position Summary:
We are seeking a Travel Demand and Traffic Analysis Practice Leader to provide analytical leadership and support for the Transportation Planning Division focusing in the areas of travel demand forecasting, traffic operations and simulation, traffic and toll revenue (T&R) analyses, and transportation systems analyses. This position is responsible for the production of data collection and analysis efforts; macroscopic, mesoscopic and microscopic models, traffic operation studies, feasibility studies, other planning studies and technical reports and presentations.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include a degree in civil engineering, planning or a related field. A minimum of 10 years’ related experience is required.
Must be proficient using travel demand forecasting packages, including CUBE and TransCAD; microsimulation packages, including Synchro, CORSIM, and VISSIM.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be attentive to quality of work and possess strong analytical and quantitative abilities. Must be a team leader and be able to manage a diverse group, be able to market services and communicate confidently with clients.
Experience with MPO’s a plus.
