Business Analyst Sr, Fraud Solutions
Responsibilities:
* Assist product management team in creating project charter and high-level requirements. Drive process improvements in this area.
* Mentor all involved in creating and using business requirements.
* Document detailed business requirements including business use cases and logical business flow, functional design, User Interface (UI) design, and usability, user profiling, scenario building, interviewing or other kinds of information gathering or interpretation, facilitation.
* Assist test team in creating test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
* Provide input to design of User Interface (UI) and navigational structure.
* Work closely with Internet Delivery team in Credit Services Marketing to ensure continuity in channel.
* Develop copy to correspond with application and user communication.
* Incorporate usability concepts and user-centered design principles into the product development life cycle.
* Define and manage development projects by gathering requirements, writing specifications, and ensuring the smooth implementation of new product launches, product enhancements and new systems deployments.
* Serve as the principal keeper of the documentation related to custom client requirements, and analyze the impact of a requirement on other departments, processes, etc.
* Develop and manage the quarterly release process as it relates to product management deliverables; develop corresponding project plans, deadlines and manage updates to plans.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA/Testing, Sales, Marketing, Client Services.
* Assist in user communication, user documentation and other collateral materials to maximize sell-through rates and to improve user functionality.
* Seek and provide suggestions for improving internal business processes and overall systems based on client engagements and feedback.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or computer science.
* Minimum 2 years’ business analysis; project management or information systems experience.
* Strong functional product knowledge; ability to translate business need into detailed business requirements and management skills to ensure disciplined, predictable product development.
* Experience in eCommerce product development, good understanding of Internet technologies, Microsoft development tools and Microsoft office products. Good working experience with MS Project.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Working familiarity with UI design, requirements management. Professional certifications helpful.
* Front-end design skills desirable.
* Demonstrated leadership ability.
* Outstanding written and verbal communications.
