Services range from marketing mix optimization to media cost and quality performance benchmarking to merchandising and trade marketing agency process optimization and review management. Beyond media, the practice specializes in agency process optimization, media review management and aligns with specialized practices within Accenture.
Within AMS is the Media Management & Media Agency Selection group. It is the leading media auditor in the world. We measure and optimize media using real data from extensive client pools and then provide value added insight into how companies can significantly improve their performance across both traditional and digital channels
Job Description
We are looking for a person with previous experience in working with leading, marketing driven companies and brands. This individual must be an innovative and energetic self-starter with good skills in being able to understand the impact and effects of short and long term marketing on sales and profit. The individual needs to possess good analytic skills (though we are not looking for a modeler or statistician here). A key part of their success will be depend on their ability to gain deep insights into client marketing needs and objectives, and prioritize the findings in a way that is relevant and impactful. They will also need to be able to effectively communicate the findings in a way that influences clients to adapt their recommendations. This person will be responsible for working with leading global organizations to support the various marketing and media driven initiatives and project engagements. They will interact primarily with mid-level and senior client and agency personnel helping them optimize their marketing investments. This person will also be responsible for working with the day-to-day data and evaulation teams, as well as working within a cross-functional marketing team supporting existing engagements. In working with the team the expectation is that they will provide leadership and direction that builds and supports camaraderie and teamwork within the group.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* 5 years Media Planning experience in Client Media group or in an Agency
* Bachelor's Degree required
Preferred Skills:
* Media experience necessary, ideally as a media planner with knowledge of research data and/or systems as opposed to a buyer who primarily will execute against a pre set plan, also experience in creating agency systems would be advantageous
TV and print knowledge required, online would be beneficial
* Should have expertise and experience in working with major brands
* Experience in planning, organizing, directing and controlling the business unit so as to ensure: cost effective operation; high quality and consistent outputs; an effective working interface with Consultants
* Managing and enhancing data acquisition process
* Intermediate Excel (e.g. pivot table) and Power Point skills
* Background in all media types is a plus (including National Broadcast, Print, Radio, OOH and Digital)
Professional Skill Requirements:
* Improve processes to drive group productivity
* Responsible for underlying data organization and
Supporting analysis and reporting of client media performance
* Ensure that communication runs effectively
* Ability to understand and assist interpretation of data
* Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
