Job Description
Provide customized and comprehensive statistical & analytical information for business decision-making. Work on various statistical analysis and modeling projects to assist business partners and senior management in marketing to improve campaign performance, strategies and account profitability. Maintain full cycle accountability for designing, gathering data, executing statistical and marketing analysis projects, as well as interpreting results, formulating recommendations and presenting to management. Operate as subject matter expert by providing advice to senior management, clients and business partners on the effective use of analytical methodologies and optimization tools, particularly those related to probability, decision tree, time series data, queuing theory, and business planning & forecasting. Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of the statistical and business impact of key variables on account acquisition and post-acquisition behaviors. Proactively identify trends or developments that may impact business plans or performances of which may represent opportunities.
SALARY & WORK SCHEDULE: $85,280/year, 40 hrs/wk.
Qualifications
Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business Administration or related quantitative field and one (1) years of experience or equivalent including credit card transactional data and credit bureau data manipulation; statistical analysis and statistical modeling, including regression and experimental design; mathematical modeling, including queuing theory and scheduling theory; using SAS Base/Macro/STAT on Unix platform, SQL on Teradata and Visual Basic.
