HCA Delta Division, which covers Louisiana and Mississippi, has an immediate career opportunity for a skilled professional to perform an essential role in facility process improvement projects by performing operational assessments. Duties will include conducting analyses, presenting results and recommendations and developing and maintaining measurement tools that will initiate change which will lead to the improvement of HCA operating processes and systems and increase productivity. You will also be responsible for complying with corporate policy and procedures, managing resources, and identifying and meeting customer needs in a team environment.
Responsibilities will include:
* Knowledge of hospital operations and health care industry practices and trends will be necessary to consult with directors and managers.
* Plan, coordinate and conduct studies to produce operational best-demonstrated practices; analyze and evaluate departmental organization processes, methods, and equipment; and recommend solutions to the appropriate facility and Division leadership.
* Support all Process Improvement Initiatives
* Monitor appropriate indicators for maximum productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.
* Coordinate and conduct training for Division/Facility staff on new processes and systems.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* 1-3 years of relevant work experience;
* Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering preferred) with a business emphasis preferred;
* Knowledge of process improvement methodology required (LEAN preferred);
* Productivity experience in a healthcare environment preferred;
* Extensive computer knowledge including spreadsheets, databases, WP, and presentation applications;
* Excellent communication and presentation skills;
* Travel is required.
