I want to give you early notice about Statistical Innovations' upcoming workshop series: Statistical Modeling Week 2011 (SMW). Hosted by the developers of Latent GOLD, LG Choice, and
CORExpress, this year SMW consists of three important applications-oriented workshops on the state-of-the-art in statistical modeling. Join us in Boston on October 17-21 to take part in these exciting workshops!
Course 1: Key Driver Regression in Practice: Challenges and New Solutions
Dates: October 17-18, 2011
Taught by: Nicole Krämer, Tony Babinec & Jay Magidson
This new 2-day course addresses multicolinearity and related problems associated with many correlated predictors (analysis of high-dimensional data) and solutions obtained using penalty-based as well as component approaches such as PLS regression and Correlated Component Regression (CCR). We illustrate the different approaches with XLSTAT, SPSS, CORExpress and various R packages. (For more information on XLSTAT and CORExpress, please contact will@statisticalinnovations.com)
Course 2: Latent Class and Finite Mixture Modeling
Dates: October 19-20, 2011
Taught by: Jay Magidson and Tony Babinec
This 2-day course introduces various important applications of latent class (LC) modeling and shows how to best use Latent GOLD, the #1 package for LC and finite mixture models, to develop
the most informative models.
Course 3: Applications of Latent Class Models with Discrete Choice, MaxDiff, and Rankings Data
Date: October 21, 2011
Taught by: Jay Magidson and Gary Bennett
This 1-day course introduces important applications of discrete choice analyses using the new XLSTAT-Conjoint module and Latent GOLD Choice. The workshops provide a unique opportunity to learn how to obtain the most meaningful segmentations in both basic and advanced applications.
(For further information XLSTAT-Conjoint and/or LG Choice, please contact will@statisticalinnovations.com)
