Position: Sr. Mgr./Associate Director, Market Research - Pharma
Salary: $105K - $140K + Annual bonus + Incentives
Location: PA/NJ/NYC Area
Relocation: Yes, full package, as needed
Responsibilities:
Develops and executes marketing research programs and analysis providing fact based recommendations in key strategic and tactical areas supporting long and short term business goals with significant potential to impact product/company earnings.
Responsibilities include positioning, market analysis, performance tracking, benchmarking, advertising testing and tracking, and tactical and promotional evaluation.
Responsible for marketing research supporting the company brand teams.
Must identify marketing problems and opportunities, define and prioritize information needs, creatively apply market research techniques to solve problems, and effectively develop and communicate actionable recommendations to all levels of management.
Qualifications:
-BS degree; MS/MBA required. Requires strong analytical skills and marketing insight, consistent result orientations and thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace.
-Requires proven skills in all phases of primary and secondary research including research/analytical design and execution, ability to synthesize and integrate multiple data sources, familiarity of statistical models to marketing problems, knowledge of all relevant databases and PC access tools, relevant forecasting skills, and ability to interpret findings.
-Exhibits independent judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to set and manage priorities, insights in identifying strategic needs, creatively solving problems and flexibility in variety of brand team situations.
-Primary research with strong quantitative and qualitative research methods
-Experience conducting and managing market research studies for both marketed and products in development. Strong preference with experience conducting primary and secondary market research studies and analyses in therapeutic pipeline and/or in-line products.
