Position: Manager, Secondary Market Research - Pharmaceutical
Salary: $90K - $105K + Bonus + Incentives
Location: Northern NJ area

Responsibilities:
*Interact with Managed Markets Group, brand marketing teams, and Field Sales to identify and recommend optimal information and reporting needs.
*Identify, acquire and manage appropriate sources of secondary information and syndicated research to support reporting needs (i.e., WK, IMS, etc)
*Work with Data Warehouse/IS depts. to ensure system continuity and lay foundation for transition to automation
*Work with internal Depts. (CI, Forecasting, Finance, Strategic Operations) to develop Corporate Reports.
*Management of Secondary Research Budget
*Experience in the use of a wide range of secondary data sources including, but not limited to: standard sales, prescription, medical, and promotional audits.
*At least 2-4 years solid market research experience with a focus in secondary research
*Therapeutic categories - any and/or all. Most desired: CNS, CV, DERM, ONCOLOGY, DIAB, RESP, HEMATOLOGY.
*Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving market research procedures and methodologies as required.
*Lead the effective implementation of the market research plan, ensuring that each project is designed to address the specific business issues of the Brand(s).
Position Requirements:
*BS/BA degree. MBA preferred; 3-5 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or market research.
*Attention-to-detail, strong problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Market Access, etc.).
