We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing/Pay Per Click Analyst in our Belleville, IL office. Join the dynamic, fun and growing Network Solutions team responsible for three web properties: MonsterMarketplace, ThinkLocal and the recently-launched MySolutionSpot. Play a mission critical role in driving revenue and customer satisfaction for these sites.
Key Skills:
*Interest in online businesses-both online advertising as well as community management.
*Experience with managing pay per click campaigns, comfort with *Microsoft Excel and online software/tools, good writer, meticulous, independent worker, interest in e-commerce and advertising/marketing on the web, detail oriented, and enjoys working in a fast paced, team driven environment.
*Proactive communicator, experienced and interested in managing customer communications.
Primary Responsibilities: PPC Analysis
*Write PPC advertisements and generate traffic to websites utilizing pay per click accounts with major search engines.
Perform research on keyword search terms and expand campaigns based off of research
*Track click through rates, cost per conversion, ROI, and campaign budget.
Position will utilize a broad set of skills including content creation, data manipulation, problem solving, project management, and communication.
*Manage ROI analyses that optimize and provide strategic guidance for internet marketing by applying analytical and data synthesis skills; communicate results through quantitative and qualitative reporting.
*Ability to bring forward industry best practices for web site processes and strategies, ranging from (e.g.) online marketing opportunities to site functionality.
*Work with account reps from a variety of PPC platforms, including *Google, to drive traffic to our online properties.
Secondary Responsibilities: Communications/Marketing
*Serve as communications contact for online business network.
*Review and monitor communication on business network site. *Identify posts that may require responses.
*Monitor and respond to customer queries through business network site. Forward queries to other channels as appropriate.
Experience:
*Outstanding quantitative/analytical skills to analyze campaign data and provide implications, recommendations and testing plan.
*Proven ability to meet and exceed performance goals and optimize existing revenue streams required.
*Proficient using Microsoft Office Applications.
*Excellent written and verbal communication.
*BS in related field or equivalent work experience required.
*Up to 1 year experience in managing Pay Per Click accounts or monitoring website communications.
