The Decision Support Analyst will work with internal clients to gather requirements and develop hypotheses. This person will identify data elements within numerous information systems that will answer the needs of the client. The analyst will synthesize the data by building analytical and mathematical models using Microsoft Access/Excel. This person will prepare narrative and statistical reports with recommendations on assigned projects. The analyst will anticipate questions and present results to the clients. Must be able to work independently and be detail oriented; Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.
Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Business or related field required.
Experience in healthcare is not required, but a strong interest in the field is necessary. Experience working with large volumes of data preferred. Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills. Strong communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with prudent judgment and discretion at all times. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access with VBA.
