Quantitative Marketing Manager, APAC - Singapore
This position is based in Singapore.
The Google marketing team is responsible for marketing the company's exceptional product portfolio to end users, partners and customers on a worldwide basis. Our approach is to embrace the strength of our products and pace of innovation to drive marketing programs that are as entrepreneurial, data-driven and respectful of our users as Google itself. We have a variety of roles, including product marketing, creative services, event management, quantitative marketing and field marketing.
Responsibilities:
* Drive in-house analysis combining both the customer database data as well as survey results in generating business insights.
* Model customer behavior and business forecasting.
* Work with global research firms and other suppliers, manage quantitative and qualitative studies, collect and presenting data and analyses to address key business needs.
* Interact with various management teams to identify custom research required for all phases of product and marketing lifecycles, including market opportunity assessment, product line optimization, segmentation, pricing, feature prioritization, customer satisfaction, and all other facets of product/service development.
* Develop and deliver synthesized research findings to the internal client management teams that incorporate multiple inputs and provide tangible customer and market insight.
Requirements:
* BA or BS in market research, marketing, psychology, statistics, math, computer science, physics or other related field. MS or Ph.D. degree preferred.
* 4+ years of B2B/B2C research experience (academic or work related).
* Excellent quantitative skills, significant experience with survey design, sampling, and data analysis.
* Expertise with statistical data analysis (e.g. regression, factor analysis, and multivariate analysis) in either academic coursework or work experience.
* Experience using statistical tools such as SPSS, SAS, R or Matlab a must with some experience in analyzing customer database data.
* SQL skills a plus.
* Some experience in business forecasting based on primary and syndicated data, alongside experience planning, conducting, analyzing, and presenting data from both qualitative and quantitative primary research studies.
* Excellent presentation, writing and Excel skills are a must (subject to testing).
