Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to gather and verify data necessary to control the Pharmacy Replenishment System and to support Pharmacy Operations projects. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
* Manage rollouts of new systems and procedures established by the Pharmacy Operations Technology Team.
* Administer the store replenishment interface, insuring accurate control/maintenance of the store systems.
* Gather detailed replenishment and pharmacy direct store delivery (DSD) data to aid management's decision-making with regard to inventory and purchase levels.
* Set up and maintain routine replenishment system parameters for new stores/drugs using Dot Net applications.
* Manage the Physician Pharmacy Interface system, insuring accuracy of Physician information within the Pharmacy System, and Rite Aid system integrity.
* AdHoc reporting requiring knowledge of corporate database structure.
* Work with our automation suppliers on projects relating to hardware testing and evaluation. Track and insure status of installs and testing.
* Controlled Substance Monitoring including ARCOS reporting and * Excessive Control reporting. Manage the reporting functions to Field Management and Distribution Centers.
Experience / Requirements:
The following qualities are required:

* Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis.
* Typing speed of 60 WPM.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
* Familiarity with DB2 databases and other data query tools or applications.
* Ability to work weekends or extended days on a rare basis.
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or related field, plus two (2) years' experience in data administration and analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
